The Crew

Quando si parla di cinema, spesso si fa poca attenzione a tutto quello che c'è dietro. Il fantomatico backstage si concentra sulle persone a lavoro, ma soprattutto sugli attori e sulle scene che vengono girate, raccontando un dietro le quinte fatto di macchine che si muovono, attore che recita e magari ti fa pure un sorriso mentre riprendi tutto questo, tralasciando invece, secondo me, alcuni aspetti, alcune persone, che contribuiscono a fare il film.

Nel mio piccolo mi sono voluto concentrare sui volti delle persone che dietro le quinte ci stanno sul serio e che poco spesso si vedono. Lavorando come aiuto segretario di produzione, aka Runner, ho avuto un accesso privilegiato alle facce di chi il cinema lo fa; da chi coordina le cose a chi poi praticamente mette in pratica il tutto, facendo parte di reparti specifici. Ogni volto ha una storia da raccontare, ogni volto racchiude un pezzo di quella serie o quel film che abbiamo contribuito tutti a fare; ogni volto parla di sé. A voi lascio l'interpretazione di queste storie, a ognuno la sua, diversa ma ricca allo stesso punto, piena di sfaccettature. A voi lascio questi volti, uniti da una passione comune, quella del cinema, che tutti contribuiscono a realizzare.

When we talk about cinema, little attention is often paid to everything behind it. The elusive backstage focuses on the people at work, but above all on the actors and the scenes that are shot, telling a behind the scenes made up of moving machines, an actor who plays and maybe even gives you a smile while shooting all this, leaving out instead , in my opinion, some aspects, some people, that contribute to making the film.

In my small way I wanted to focus on the faces of the people who are serious behind the scenes. Working as assistant production secretary, aka Runner, I had privileged access to the faces of those who make cinema; from those who coordinate things to those who then practically put everything into practice, being part of specific departments. Each face has a story to tell, each face contains a piece of that series or film that we all contributed to making; each face speaks of itself. I leave you the interpretation of these stories, to each his own, different but rich at the same point, full of facets. I leave these faces to you, united by a common passion, that of cinema, which everyone contributes to achieving.
